Our process

Art-ology is a community-based organization committed to nurturing artists and creatives from childhood through adulthood, providing comprehensive support throughout their journey.

At the core of our approach is community engagement. We rely on insights gathered from focus groups, community discussions, and workshops to drive the design of our programs. We prioritize the input of creatives, including both youth and young adults, in order to ensure that their needs and perspectives are represented.

Cross-Border Art Residency

Our Artist Residency Exchange Program fosters cross-border collaboration between Detroit and Windsor artists. Through open calls and curated cohorts, we provide support, resources, and opportunities for cultural exchange. From community engagement to exhibitions, our program catalyzes lasting connections and inspires artistic innovation, shaping a brighter future together.

Arts Entrepreneaurship Program

The EmpowerYouth Arts Entrepreneurship Initiative aims to equip individuals aged 16-26 with entrepreneurial skills in the arts. Through workshops, mentorship, small business projects, and pitching events, participants gain practical experience and forge connections in the arts community, fostering innovation and creativity in arts entrepreneurship.

Youth Ambassadors

Establishing the Art-ology Youth Ambassadors, our objective is to empower passionate students from Detroit and Windsor to shape Art-ology's programs. Through advisory roles, community outreach, and event planning, they amplify youth voices in the arts community, driving impactful change and fostering artistic innovation.
